Monticello, NY – Legislature Chairman Robert Doherty announces that District Attorney Meagan Galligan will join Legislature Vice Chair Mike Brooks, County Manager Josh Potosek and Public Health Director Nancy McGraw at the next Live Town Hall this Monday, June 22 at 1 p.m.
The following Thursday, June 25, four area religious leaders – Rabbi Lawrence Zierler, Father Edward Bader, Imam Samuel Encarnacion and Pastor David Coon – will talk about coronavirus’ impact on their missions, their congregations, their services and their everyday activities.
“Always a well-received speaker at our Town Halls, Meagan will discuss the latest about enforcement of the rules regarding COVID-19, along with the current status of the court system,” Doherty stated. “I also look forward to Thursday’s panel of clergymen, who will shed light on something we haven’t yet talked about at a Town Hall: the impact of the pandemic on people’s spiritual lives.”
Questions for any of the presenters can be submitted via either email at firstname.lastname@example.org or private message to www.facebook.com/sullivancountygov and are due by 7 a.m. the day of the respective Town Hall. They should be related to COVID-19 (2019 Novel Coronavirus) concerns and issues, phrased respectfully and apolitically.
