Preschool Special Education

This program serves about 250 preschoolers aged 3-5 with disabilities annually.  In addition to acting as a fiscal agent, the Preschool Special Education Program works with school districts and families to develop appropriate Individual Education Plans for preschoolers and to assure that services are delivered in the child's natural environment to the extent possible.

Sullivan County is continually seeking recruitment of qualified professionals who are state approved providers of services to children with different needs. This includes professionals in the areas of speech and language pathology, hearing, visual impairment, physical therapy, occupational therapy, and special education itinerant teachers. Give us a call if you are interested in becoming approved to provide services to Sullivan County children.
