Voter Registration

The Board of Elections is located in the SC Government Center
At 100 North Street in Monticello,  NY


The qualifications for voting in New York State are as follows:

  • Be a U. S. citizen
  • Be 18 years old by the date of the primary, general or other election
  • Live at your present address at least 30 days before an election
  • Not be in prison or on parole for a felony conviction (unless parolee pardoned or restored rights of citizenship); and
  • Not claim the right to vote elsewhere

How to Register

Download a blank form as a PDF, print with your printer, fill out completely with pen, and submit the form in person at the Board of Elections Office or by mail. English Form or Spanish Form.
